Faculty Development Programme
The basic course workshops in Medical Education Technologies (MET) to train the in- house teaching faculty in the principles and application of education technology in medical education are conducted biannually under the aegis of Christian Medical College, Vellore, which is our MCI recognized regional centre for national faculty development programme. These workshops aim at developing knowledge and skills in teaching and learning, student assessment and curriculum development among the learner teachers. Faculty members are also nominated by the college to attend the basic and advanced workshops at the Regional Centre.

In an effort to bring home expertise from far and wide, CHRI hosts various conferences/CME/ Symposia/ Seminars. Mini Auditorium can accommodate 375 and Sigappi Achi Convention Centre, a marvel that blends tradition with modern architecture, can accommodate about 1200. These auditoria are fully equipped with modern audiovisual gadgets and provide an ideal milieu for hosting large gatherings. Sigappi Achi Convention Centre was awarded the global award for the best interior design and architecture I April 2012 by the international magazine for architecture and interior design.
